Blackburn & District Team Celebrated the first official World Bicycle Day on Sunday 3rd June in Lancashire U.K
This ride was done with me unknowingly on World Bike day, with a few people from Blackburn C.T.C Barry, Stewart, Lesley, John, Janice sadly Sue had to miss on this occasion but she did help me in a great way so I could deal along the way to be able to do this day and I'm so thankful for her help and guidance within the team.
It was only after I realized Team Novo had mentioned it for the United Nations on their website, for it to be a World Bike Day as I try to regularly cycle to help keep my blood sugars to where they need to be in and around the 5.5 mmol to 6.5 mmol in one part of the world and 100 mg/dl to 117 mg/dl in another part.
The 3rd June every year is a World Bicycle Day
It would be nice if everybody could not use their cars for this day! We should all be cycling not just on this day but regularly to help maintain your diabetes sugar levels and your environment and to keep you well in mind body and soul.

In the video above you will notice that it shows feeding the Ducks with Bread, Please be aware its best not to do this for them, even though like many other people I also made the mistakes of doing this too! For Ducks its High in Carbs like it is for Diabetics if taken wrongly, Please see this Is Feeding Ducks Bread Bad for more helpful information on this matter than me.
