UK Wide Cycle Ride

David's story

I'm taking part in the UK Wide Cycle Ride to support people affected by diabetes this April 2021.
I have been a Diabetic now for over 50 years and started to cycle to help me better control my Diabetes and poor circulations and leg issues I'm having.

I started by just going around the block to then keeping to flatlands level grounds  (Canals) to now on hills with lots of help and support from Cycling UK C.T.C

There are 4.8 million people living with diabetes in the UK, the complications of which lead to over 500 premature deaths every week. So, I'm riding towards a healthier T1 me, and a better future for people living with Diabetes. Support my challenge by hitting the donate button on my profile page.
